Fui convidada pelo Grupo EPPIR (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) para revisar a diagramação e criar a capa e contracapa do livro "Equidade Racial na Educação Básica". O trabalho envolveu ajustes em tipografia, paleta de cores, contraste e leitura do material.
A ilustração da capa foi criada em parceria com a IA, a partir de uma série de prompts específicos e fundamentados no conteúdo do livro e no briefing. A proposta visual teve como diretriz evitar estereótipos e vieses, buscando representar o tema com sensibilidade e autenticidade.
A imagem gerada pela IA passou por um extenso processo de finalização no Illustrator e Photoshop, com ajustes de cor, texturas, montagem e escolha tipográfica. Acredito na IA como ferramenta de criação, não como ameaça — o diferencial está no uso consciente, estratégico e criativo que o designer faz dela.

I was invited by the EPPIR Group (UFMG) to revise the layout and design the cover and back cover of the book Racial Equity in Basic Education. The work involved adjustments in typography, color palette, contrast, and overall reading flow.
The illustration for the cover was created in collaboration with artificial intelligence, using a series of carefully crafted prompts based on the book’s content and briefing. The visual concept was guided by a commitment to avoid stereotypes and biases, aiming to represent the theme with authenticity and sensitivity.
The AI-generated image went through a detailed post-production process in Illustrator and Photoshop, with color adjustments, texturing, collage work, and custom typography. I see AI as a creative partner — not a threat. What makes the difference is how strategically and consciously the designer uses this tool to shape a unique visual narrative.
